i know it's kinda late! but i hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Heh :D

Ok i guess i'm supposed to blog about how i celebrated christmas.. haha.

christmas eve. church, then back home. helped prepare the food for the party at night. dad's friends came over and we had ALOT ALOT of food. i promise i ate much more than i could
contain. surprise gifts from my sisters and parents were hidden under my banklet, and i was really HAPPPYYYYYYY! i shall say i'm easily contented. lol...

christmas day. went to ikea in the morning, bought bookshelves and potted plants for the toilet ( i know it's kinda wierd). relatives came over for lunch. had more xmas food (turkey, pasta etc.) i think i'm not gonna have them for the next month or even longer. it doesn't look appetising anymore :(

watched dvds. then they suggested going to this seafood restaurant for dinner. i made to go and eat the food served. lobsters, crabs, mussels, etc etc..... i think i'm just gonna have plain porridge for the next few days =X

christmas this year is really different for me. i'm really happy about the surprises from my family :) but most importantly, i've really understood the true meaning of christmas. the message on sunday was really good, and inspiring!! :D

saturday
spent the day at church practising the skit + rehearsals for the song items. 'we are the reason' was really quite terrible and the skit... everyone was saying that i was speaking too fast and i sounded nervous =p aiyo i wasnt nervous but i guess i had to make an effort to speak slower.. haha..

recently i have been suffering from insomnia! i don't know why but i just can't get to sleep! gosh, that night was especially bad. i knew i had to rest early but the more i wanna sleep the more i can't get to sleep. so, i prayed and it worked! thank God :)

sunday
after service in the morning we practised for the skit, and i was quite emotionless when i was saying my lines. and that walking thing was pretty bad! hahah.. ok but i had to make the best out of the situation. then we started decorating the sanctuary, it took longer than expected! esp the banner, but it was nice :D thanks to karen's idea. haha.. then we started rehearsing.. ok it went quite smoothly. but i was like very tired after that! =/

ok then it was dinner, most visitors came at about 630, and by about 645, most food were finishing! so lynette and sharon only managed to try abit of the turkey.. oh and sharon's sis is cute! as in, she's got this innocent face. lol

the event started. and the place was like dark, which made me really scared! for some reason. even though i can't see faces. hahaha. the song item which uncle chye keng was not bad, even though i thought i was playing faster and faster. he won most enthu performance! haha.. then for sister act, i forgot what we won, hahah =p i missed a few notes, and it was quite messy for some parts, but at least the effort we put in was paid off :D

'we are the reason' was not bad! the vocalists sang well =) but i was quite disappointed with my playing la. aiyo, esp the bridge. ok anyway it's over! so yah.. i went home and i slept soundly cos i was tired i think! mentally and physically....

Bangkok trip was great!

the shopping trip was quite fruitful, but 'cause of the lack of time, didn't go to all the places we wanted to go to shop :(

anyway, the food was yummmyyy =D esp. tom yum soup! we're super full after every meal 'casue the food there's much cheaper and we ended up ordering more than enough for 5 to consume. lol.

oh, and it's like burning hot there! never thought that my 'sun-stamina' would be that bad. i was sweating like mad after walking for a short while on the streets. plus it was kinda crowded =/

i'm amazed that i'm actually blogging on a regular basis now. or maybe it's because i'm too free at home and just feel like typing. haha. just came back after sending my sis off to shanghai. i'll be going to bangkok in 3 hours time, hopefully this 4 day shopping trip will be a fruitful one :D
